Book – Coming Fall 2022!

Wondering what you can do as a supervisor to prevent and manage the issues that often arise in graduate school? Curious about the most common sources of conflict between supervisors and graduate students?

My new book based on my experiences as manager of the Graduate Conflict Resolution Centre, University of Toronto (Grad CRC 2015-2020) will be published in 2022 with University of Toronto Press. I often heard from faculty that they just didn’t know where to start in resolving challenging graduate student concerns.

This book contains practical strategies and tips for moving from conflict to opportunity, as well as activities and case studies for faculty professional development based on over 900 conversations with graduate faculty, staff and students at the Grad CRC.
